When it’s a Notograph.
Have you ever been thumbing through pictures of your kids or your cats and had the moment interrupted by a picture you took just to remember something?
Their 1-sentence description hooked me. And, since it was phrased as a question & my answer was “yes!” I pried the $1.591 out of my iTunes account.
It’s so easy to “throw up a website” and “sell something”. I admire a team that knows how to communicate their value this clearly. Even if I never use the app (I will), it’s $1.59 well spent.
By the way, it’s not just for when I’m looking at photos (the use case they mention). I want to, for example, take a picture of where I park my car but don’t want that photo in my photostream. I’m looking forward to having this temporary holding space dedicated to transient photos.
- The app is $1.99, but I stock up on iTunes gift cards when they’re on special for ¢80 on the dollar so I get a 20% discount on all my iTunes purchases. [↩]
