I heard it from the Amazon guy... who I believe was talking about their own internal analysis of the things they were doing at Amazon. The speaker was Dr. Werner Vogels (Vice President &amp; Chief Technology Officer), you might try to find him in the cloud and ask him. Sorry I can&#039;t be more specific. 

I do believe there is lots and lots of opportunity in this area though, and if I weren&#039;t so happily employed (that&#039;s the standard disclaimer required by &lt;a href=&quot;http://www.actional.com&quot; rel=&quot;nofollow&quot;&gt;Progress&lt;/a&gt;) I would consider consulting in this area, and figuring out a way to take a percentage of the money I save clients.
